5-yr old girl tests positive for meth; mother arrested

Dona Ana County Sheriff’s Investigators on Tuesday afternoon arrested and charged Marlene Sandoval, 33, of Flatland Road, Las Cruces with Child Abuse – Negligently Cause (No Death or Great Bodily Harm), a third degree felony, after investigators learned that she and her 5-year-old daughter tested positive for methamphetamine.
