72-YO Man Sentenced to 15-18 Years for Raping 7-YO Girl

As Harold Thomas Shytle carefully shuffled to the table on the left side of the courtroom, the family sitting on the front bench embraced one another. One woman clasped her hands tightly together, as if in prayer, while tears leaked from the corners of her eyes. Another woman held her hand over her mouth. Shytle was arrested in June and charged with indecent liberties and first-degree sex offense with a child after a 7-year-old girl told her mother Shytle sexually abused her, according to court testimony.
