8-YO Child Found Beaten and Bound

TAMPA – An 8-year-old boy was found beaten and tied to a table with zip ties in a Tampa home, police say. A suspect is in custody. The discovery was made after the Department of Children and Families received a complaint of possible child abuse. Police officers and DCF personnel went to a home on Coral Bay Road where, according to a statement, they found the 8-year-old “with injuries consistent with being struck numerous times with a belt and extension cord.” READ MORE HERE
