Bail denied for man who killed infant

FORT LAUDERDALE —A Fort Lauderdale man accused of striking and shaking a year-old boy who later died was denied bail at his first court appearance Thursday.
Ian Arnold, 22, is charged with aggravated child abuse against Kamarie Bowles, who died Wednesday morning. Homicide charges are possible, pending the results of an autopsy, according to police.
