CNN’s Don Lemon released his memoir “Transparent” in May. His story includes incidences of pedophilia victimization that he shared with the world during the Bishop Eddie Long scandals. The announcement of Lemon’s memoir comes on the heels of a scathing New York Times review of personal memoirs as writing pity parties written by people who have not done anything special or worth writing about.
