downloadDreamcatchers Completed An Outstanding Year Of Service To Our Community

Dreamcatchers for Abused Children would like to take a moment to reflect upon our accomplishments in 2013. We couldn’t be more proud of our staff, board, sponsors, community partners and our followers who make our work possible. We will continue to be a voice for our children and strive for nonprofit excellence for ourselves and our colleagues in the sector. This 2013 Year in Review is intended to provide you with a snapshot of our community work over the past year.  We are pleased to present these highlights of our recent work…

By the time you finish reading this, 15 children will have been abused; In the next five minutes, 30 more; Within the next hour, 360 more; And by tonight, close to 8,000+ children will have suffered from abuse, 5 of which will die. Child abuse has increased 134% since 1980 and is now considered a worldwide epidemic. The high jump in child abuse deaths and the shocking increase in statistics highlights the frightening lack of public knowledge.
