A former South Strabane Township man accused of assaulting his 5-month-old son and the boy’s 5-year-old sister waived his case to court Wednesday after some of the charges were withdrawn by the prosecution. Keith Anthony Long, 25, formerly of 354 Country Club Road, is being held for court on two counts of child endangerment and one count each of reckless endangerment and aggravated assault. Charges of simple assault, reckless endangerment and harassment filed in connection with the assault on the girl were withdrawn. Charges were filed last month by South Strabane police. Long told police that he will reside with his father in Bradford if he is released on bond. The infant remains at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, said Assistant District Attorney Traci McDonald.
