Mother Slashed Kids’ Throats

A mother violently assaults her two children before leaving them in a burning apartment. Tanicia Goodwin, 25, has been charged with intent to murder, slashing her two children’s throats on Sunday night before setting fire to her Salem, Massachusetts apartment. Goodwin turned herself into a local police station on Monday morning, where, while covered in lighter fluid and blood, claimed she was just protecting her children and had plans to commit suicide.
