Sheriff Lee Baca is asking the public for help in finding the killer

COMPTON — The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public for help in solving a murder that left a high school senior dead. 19-year-old Michael Owens was caught in the crossfire during a fight between two gangs in Compton in January 2009.
