CAMARILLO, CA — A woman suspected of murdering her newborn baby, which was found dead in a Camarillo strawberry field earlier this year, is facing murder charges, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department announced Thursday. 20-year-old Rosalba Moran of Oxnard was arrested Dec. 21 after a lengthy investigation in which detectives used DNA samples from farm workers to track down a relative of the baby’s mother.
