Man faces 50 years-to-life sentence for child abuse

HANFORD — Jurors found a Hanford man guilty on Friday of continuously sexually abusing his stepdaughter since she was 7 years old. Alfredo Provencio, 43, now faces a likely 50 years-to-life sentence when he returns to court on Aug. 17. The decision came at the end of a seven-day trial prosecuted by the Kings County District Attorney’s Office. READ MORE HERE
