Buddhist Monk Held On $5M Bail for 15-YO Girl’s Alleged Rape

More than a decade after he allegedly raped and impregnated a 15-year-old girl at a Southwest Side temple, a Buddhist monk was charged with the crime. Camnong Boa-Ubol, 62, appeared in Cook County Circuit Court in Bridgeview Friday morning where he was ordered held on $5 million bail by Judge Peter Felice. READ MORE HERE
