Giants Linebacker, Michael Boley, Investigated for Child Abuse

Giants linebacker Michael Boley is being investigated on accusations that he has abused his 5-year-old son, according to his lawyer. The claims against Boley, a seven-year veteran of the N.F.L., stem from a contested child support case he has been involved in with the mother of the child. Boley’s Atlanta-based lawyer, Randall M. Kessler, said in a telephone interview Saturday that the accusations were initially raised in June but that the child’s mother opted not to enter them into the record during a child support trial.
