Mother defends child’s father against abuse allegations

Kara Penn said she thought she heard news reports Friday that her 3-week-old son was killed by his father.
Jordan Krichten, now 1, looked healthy and happy the same day as he chewed on a set of car keys in the company of his mother and his grandmother, Julie Vance.
The family’s picture is not that rosy, Penn said.
